Last week a former student, Elliot Warburton, who is now working as a Delivery Manager for a global technology consultancy company, visited our school. He gave a motivational speech to Year 11 students in assembly and shared his personal experience of navigating the highs and lows of his learning journey with Year 10 and Year 11 classes. His talks resonated with what many of our students are experiencing right now: forthcoming examinations and the many questions they have about their future lives.
It was fabulous to see a Lady Manners alumnus who was able to inspire and empathise with our young people, and show them that there are plenty of options in life, which are there to be grasped. Many thanks to Elliot for his time and valuable advice!
