Last week, Year 10 students have welcomed their exchange partners from Kaiser-Heinrich-Gymnasium in Bamberg to Lady Manners School for nine days.  Their German friends have had the chance to try out a range of activities in school, including key-ring making in a D&T lesson, a scone-baking challenge with their English partners.

Students also took part in a multi-national geographical challenge, as we also welcomed students from a partner school in Slovenia.

There have also been day trips to Liverpool and to Manchester, and a bowling evening to enjoy.  We are proud as a school of our continued uptake of German and the experiences and friendships created by our continued exchange programme, now in its fifteenth year.  Our students will return to stay with their partners in Bamberg in July.
